Establishing National-Level Traceability for Dosimeters with Ionization chambers and Semiconductor detectors used in X-ray diagnostic imaging

Dosimetry Traceability for Precision in Care

Project Overview

X-TraceDose.uz is a national scientific initiative dedicated to building reliable traceability for dosimeters used in medical X-ray diagnostic imaging.

The project focuses on the development of reference calibration systems for ionization chambers and semiconductor detectors, ensuring that radiation dose measurements are accurate, consistent, and internationally recognized.

By establishing this infrastructure, Uzbekistan will improve the quality of medical diagnostics, enhance patient and staff safety, and strengthen its role in the global scientific community. The project brings together metrology, healthcare, and radiation safety under a unified framework for sustainable development.
